GRAPHIC DESIGN · FASHION· BRANDING · PHOTOGRAPHY

We didn't build this world. That doesn't mean we can't change it.
Skëlle Apparel was my senior studio project, where I developed a streetwear line with a unique twist. From creating wearable pieces to producing ads, videos, and a photoshoot, it allowed me to apply my multidisciplinary skills. Recognizing the value of collaboration, I used the brand to elevate other creatives, featuring artists as models, each contributing artwork back into the brand.

Final Photos and Logo Design
The final logo is written to emulate elements of street and graffiti artwork. Each model wearing Skëlle is an artist themselves, and created work to go back into the brand. Using long exposure photography and other innovative techniques, Skëlle Apparel is at the edge of what's next for streetwear.

Long exposure hyperlapse
Finally, I innovated an animation style leveraging both long exposure photography and hyperlapsing.
IDEATION
Sketching
In order to develop my ideas and create a direction for Skëlle, I sketched out my ideas over the course of a few days, getting feedback from my class about what the strongest ideas were.

Mock-ups
Focusing on a black & white bones aesthetic, I created various designs that could be used on shirts or other pieces. I then created mock-ups of the hoodie and pants that I would create to photograph.

I created the world's first ever reversible hoodie that could be worn as a ski mask or as a hood. Because of this, the hoodie design added a secondary, thinner, inner hood.

To continue to express the brand's place within the streetwear industry, I created skateboard mock-ups with various branding elements.
